Where to find Childrens songs?

Since beginning my Profex I have discovered I am way out of the loop when it comes to children's songs.

I am hearing all these "new" to me songs and have no idea where I find these kinds of things.

An example is Louise the elephant, and today I heard another one about calling your name and not wanting to talk on the phone. I don't know what it is called.

I have lots of old nursery rhymes but they are more suitable for preschoolers than stage one students.

Can anyone advise where I might find good songs please?

Please answer this question using the comments section below, thanks

Peter Combe Songs
by: Donna

Hi Kylie

For children who are that little bit older (past the Head Shoulders Knees and Toes stage), I have used Peter Combe songs really successfully.

He has plenty of great cds out. They are funny and educational.

When I was relief teaching I always took my Peter Combe cd with me.

The children particularly loved the songs 'Mr Clickety Cane', 'A Parcel in the Post', and 'Juicy Juicy Green Grass'

I will keep an eye out for more websites that might help also.

Cheers
