Teacher Year 1/2

The classroom is open at 8:30am.

The children arrive and unpack their belongings and play games/computer in classroom or out in the yard.

The bell goes the children sit on the mat. I do the roll. After the roll we send the various monitors off to do their jobs ie canteen, office, library etc. Whilst they are gone the other children complete the date, days and weather chart.

When this is finished I have a game with the class until all the monitors are back from their jobs. After the game is finished we start our first lesson.
