Short Story Starters

When it is time for storywriting, we find that without fail we have some students that will say they don't know what to write about.

We tried giving them a start to their story and getting them to expand on it. There is always a great result.

It fires their imagination and they have fun writing a wonderful story.

Examples:
1. On my way to school I saw something strange .....

2. When I woke up this morning there was an alien in my room...

You get the idea. Before long they are thinking up their own Story Starters.
