Shoe Storage Pigeonhole

I borrowed this idea from a colleague quite a few years ago and find it works well - use the hanging shoe storage unit which can be hooked over a door or you can pin it to a wall.

The children share a pocket and their names are put onto the front with velcro. Then when they are away I put any notes or work missed in their pigeonhole - which they love to check when they come back.
