Reward System

In my classroom I have three different levels of rewards for good behaviour.
1. Individual rewards
Smiley Cards are passed out to students doing the right thing/working/trying hard. Students keep them under their desks in an envelope which we decorated at the beginning of the year. 10 smiley cards = a prize from the prize box.
2. Group rewards
Table points awarded using a tally system. The winning table at the end of the week gets 2 smiley cards each.
3. Whole class reward
I have a marble jar which I fill with a couple of marbles when the whole class has done something well (eg listened well in assembly). Once the marble jar is full the whole class gets free play for 30 minutes at the end of the day. We usually fill the marble jar every fortnight or so.
