Reading Activity - Contractions

Make lists of contractions and the words they represent eg she'll - she will, place on separate cards and laminate. Children can then use these for bingo, memory, snap and numerous other games.

They can also be made into a cut and paste activity where children match the contraction to the words it represents. I have also used homophones and compound words.

I realise this doesn't really fit under the banner writing but perhaps you can think of an appropriate place for it, and maybe you could make some of the lists to help out your members.
