Place Value Spinner Math Game

*Place spinners in correct place value order.  You could use all of hundred, tens, ones or just tens and ones depending on your goal.  You could even tape them together at the back or laminate them together.

*Children spin each spinner to represent each place value.  They then write that number at the bottom of the spinner using whiteboard markers.

*This number can then be represented using base blocks or manipulative materials such as straw bundles etc.

Can also work backwards.  Have a list of numbers - children then place the arrows on the appropriate value chart to represent that number.

Also ideal to use separately for counting and representing hundreds, tens and ones.

Instructions for all spinners....... Basically they are best laminated.  Also it is pretty important to use a hole punch to make the holes in the arrows.  This helps it to turn smoothly.

My spinners have worked well in the past with just laminated paper, but I think it is better to either print them straight onto card, or glue onto card before laminating.

Cut the arrows shorter if you like.

***Press split pin LOOSELY for these so that the arrows spin freely.
