Organising Teaching Resources

I have been teaching a few years now and this works for me. At times I find I am so busy I don't put my resources away properly and thus my desk looks like a bomb has hit it.
To fix this problem I bought a pack of magazine holders (nice bright ones), lots of display books with extra pouches and a label maker ($50 from Coles).
Each theme I make cover page and put a sticky label on the spine describing the folder. I then just slide in all my programs, copies of useful resources, photos of displays, ideas, activities etc as I go.
The magazine boxes are at the top of my desk and sit upright so don't lose the file amongst other books and resource books.
Saves a lot of time filing and sorting through paper. And all ready too for another year and you can share files with colleagues if you work in teams.
