Some great sites we have discovered.... Kididdles is a fabulous site with loads of free songs and rhymes for early childhood - all those great classics and some modern ones as well. You can listen to the music to remind you of the tune or use it as backup music at school. The site also has downloads of matching music sheets and worksheets for most songs - many of these work in very well with our songs, poems and nursery rhyme printables. You do need to sign up to be able to download the worksheets and music sheets but it all works smoothly. You can even make up a folder of all the sheets. This is also perfect for those teachers like me who like to think they can play a few simple chords on the guitar (big wink) for the children - the music sheets are ideal. Enlarge the song sheets and pop them into a class book or into your song box - terrific resource for children to practise their reading.. http://www.thekcrew.net/buzzbook.html There are some terrific examples of Morning Storyboard or Morning Message ideas on this site. I think morning messages are so full of learning and are so important to start the day. The examples on this site makes them so much fun and involve so much learning in one small session. Cheers to all *New Resource Additions to Membership... **Lowercase Alphabet Handwriting Rhymes **200 + CVC Word Families - words with and without pictures.. **50 Reduce Reuse Recycle Words **More Yes / No Reading Questions - Set 2 Songs, Poems and Nursery Rhyme Resources **"I Hear Thunder" - Weather Poem **"Reduce Recycle Reuse" - Rhyme
