New Scheme Teacher Accreditation

Hi I'm currently undergoing and am in my final stages my New Scheme Teacher Accreditation(NSW) now. I"m thinking of moving interstate to either Melbourne or Perth. Does anyone know if I need to get reaccreditated there or can my accreditation be used there in both independent and public schools?

New Scheme Teacher Accreditation

If you contact the VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) they will assist you. You will still have to undergo the registration process but you may find that they will transfer some of your accreditation towards this so you will not have to go through the full process. I know they do this for QLD, WA and TAS for sure as I have asked but I am unsure about NSW as I know their rules are slightly different so I am unsure if they have a reciprocal agreement set up.

You would have to apply for employment and accreditation for each state that you wished to work in. The NSW accreditation is only valid for NSW at this time.
