Maths Storyboard Template - Suggestions for Use
Ensure to model the 4 sections explicitly first - enlarge one of the templates to A3 size and laminate for continued class modelling use.
Pop one or more numerals, or number sentences in the space in the center - children then work in pairs or independently to represent those number/s or numbers sentences using - Pictures, Writing a Story, Using Concrete Materials/Objects, and Using Symbols...
You could take a photo of the concrete objects representation and glue into that section.
This is a great activity to do in pairs - during 'sharing circle' time, each pair then shares how they represented their number/s
Again, these can be enlarged or reduced if like.
