It's a fantastic hands-on strategy using cards for learning + fun. I often use cards for addition, subtraction, place value, but students love to make the largest / smallest 2 or 3 digit number(depending on the year level). I then write the numbers on the board and they put them in order, either ascending or descending. You can also purchase BIG cards form places like Crazy Clarks etc., for visual ease.
