My Passion (Teaching) is my Business
Here is how it all began...

To be honest, before building this site, I spent almost 2 years searching the web for that Work from Home opportunity.   I now know that the hours between 8pm (kiddies bedtime) and midnight (my unofficial bedtime) are faster than any other hours in the day.....I'm sure of it..

Anyway, let me tell you there are many, many so called opportunities for home businesses out there that 'bite' and I have the scars to prove it.

Fortunately I came across an internet 'guru' named Alan Gardyne, he seemed genuine (mostly because he came from sunny Queensland like me - hee, hee) and I signed up for his affiliate programs newsletter.

Over the months his newsletters taught me much about the internet and I grew confident of his expertise.  He recommended 'Site Build It' (SBI) as an opportunity to build a website based on what you love and know.

As I ran my fingers over my internet scars, I checked it out with that knowing hint of scepticism that grows from being bitten many times.

Have you ever had the feeling that the person writing must know you and how you think and feel.   Well, that is how I felt when reading about 'Site Build It'

I felt that immediate pang of excitement and connection - this was for me.  An overwhelming relief overcame me as I read further about how to build a long term website with passion and commitment.  This was not just a get rich quick scheme, this was honest, sincere, ethical and felt right.

To my delight I was able to download and read about how 'Site Build It' has changed the lives of other Work At Home Mums or WAHMs.  Most of them related stories about internet bites similar to mine before discovering 'Site Build It'

With a new found enthusiasm and revitalized belief that ethics and honesty still exists, I couldn't wait to tell my husband what I had found.

Of course being responsible always takes the fun away from making quick, spontaneous, exciting decisions.  So, as only boring old humans can do, I weighed up the pros and cons, looked further into 'Site Build It' and planned financially.

Yes, and I still came up with a yes, yes, yes - in fact the more I looked into it the more excited I got.

So, here I am.  I have a website that expresses me and helps others.   It is growing slowly but surely and I am learning heaps - slowly but surely as only a WAHM  can!

Each new page added brings a sense of fulfilment and excitement.

I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings, as for the future - well the sky is the limit........
