Missing Numbers Sheets

Ideas for Use

  • I used to copy these different combinations onto different coloured cardex and then laminate it.

  • The children then used these during maths groups or early finishers using whiteboard markers to fill in the missing numbers.

  • Could also be used as a separate individual printable math worksheets.

  • I believe with report writing, it's important to not generalise or be too 'flowery' in the comments. As a parent, I appreciate knowing which skills/areas my children need strengthening in. So as a rule of thumb - when it comes to report writing - I always start with a positive, then I mention an area that the student needs further development in and then I finish off on a high with another positive. Works a treat!

  • Great site. I downloaded lots of resources when I taught year 1. However, I cannot find much for Year 3 and I was looking forward to it. Could you please upload more for stage 2. Thanks

  • There are about 11 or 12 spelling choices for the speech sound sssss, so look at the THRASS resource chart. Not all there. It has left my child bored, and being told to learn the charts which still don't help him to spell the words he wants to spell, and is always being told its a catchall. A thumbs down for me too. Ken
