Concept Book "I Have a Little..." - Ideas for Use...
- HOW TO USE CONCEPT BOOKS
- Read and work with the matching poem - "I Have a Little Frog" first, discuss rhyme, nouns, adjectives with this poem. Make a class version of the concept book first (model, model, model) and brainstorm the different words and/or themes for the childrens'poems.
- Use the dolch nouns, or nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs word cards to make up this short little poem. Encourage rhyme and use of adjectives to make it extra funny and to practise word / sentence skills as well.
