Christmas Printables Theme Words - Suggestions for Use

Use the words for examples of phonics - Match with Phonics Charts - 'ee' reindeer, greetings, tree / 'y' 'ey' turkey, donkey, Mary, holly, party, chimney, family, Merry, nativity / 'ar' cards, star, party / 'ing' greetings, pudding, giving, stockings

Make mini copies of these words for children to become 'word detectives' and play with the laminated words - circling, colouring phonics etc. These smaller sizes are great for cut and paste activities such as cutting out the words and pasting them in alphabetical order.

Use these words (either smaller words for gluing, or as a reference for their own writing) with the concept book - ' It must be Christmas '.
