christmas gift for parents of my class

I teach in a catholic school so Christmas is celebrated freely with the stories of Jesus and Mary and the celebration that this season brings.
Finding a gift for the kids to give their parents is always tricky, especially as I teach 5 year olds.

I have made a fantastic gift that not only looks impressive but is a wonderful keepsake from the year together.

I collate all the wonderful photos from the year onto photostory program. This allows me to add text to the photos and you can add music over the top of the slide show too.

I then burn CDs (enough for one for every child).
I then have made a folder that is the same size as the CD.

One side of the folder has room for me to write a message to the family and then I buy CD sleeves and stick one onto the other side to pop the CD in.

The students then decorate it and make some christmas paper to wrap it in.

The parents love having a copy of their child's year and I take so many photos each year that it is great to share them!!!
