I have used the Bindi Kidfitness DVD & CD. The songs and dances are easy to learn, as you are able to show the children using the DVD. The songs are not 'christmassy' and therefore children from different cultural groups are able to participate. The songs are about animals/ environmental/peace.

My class had so much fun learning 2 songs last year for the concert and the Parents enjoyed watching the performance.

This year we learned Marianne-a song/dance about not judging something (camel) by how it looks for our Harmony Day assembly.

I have used Mem Fox book Wombat Devine, I wrote a play from it - the children made masks and practiced it lots and lots. We had the food koala biscuits, emu cakes and so forth. They really enjoyed it.
