Buddy activities

(Australia)
My prep children have a grade 5 buddy and each fortnight we meet altogether and do an activity. Does anyone please have any good activities that we can use for these sessions?
Thanks

With a year one class we played What's the Time Mr Wolf - but instead of the wolf (myself) calling out 'It's one o'clock!" I used a clock with moveable hands.

I was just thinking the other day that I needed some matching cards for numbers over 100 then today I came across the new parts of speech posters and thought I\'d check out the \"What\'s New\" section and there I found exactly what I had been wanting. Thank you so much for your wonderful resources. This is the first place I check when looking for resources and I\'ve been able to build a great collection since moving to the lower school grades last year. Thanks again!

What others are saying...
I have a year 1 class and their buddy class is a year 6/7 class we have also worked on an art/ TE activity together - making a 'box monster' my class finished it off and then shared their monster with their buddy explaining how they finished making it. I also plan to get my class to make a Easter card for their buddy.
I have done these with Prep children and their year 4 buddies. (our time together was about 20-30 minutes depending on what we were doing and we met weekly)
1. Year four read library book to preps.
2. We buddied up and they showed us how to play noughts and crosses.
3. We played outside games together Like Rob the nest, skipping
4. We did art activities together such as drawing our buddies.- great to see how they see each other.
5. We shared something special with them .
6. We invited them to our under 8's day.
7. We worked on computer programmes together in lab,
Hope some of these help

We do buddy dancing each week and the kids have a ball! We do simple dances like Chicken Dance, macarena and hokey Pokey.
