Book Marks
A good Early Finisher activity is book marks. I have pre-cut cardboard bookmarks in various colours in a box, a class list on the wall and a container with a variety of stickers, textas and odds and ends decorating items, stars etc: There is a simple procedure sheet to read.A container for the MADE bookmarks.
To Make a Bookmark.
1. Choose a cardboard piece. 2. Put your name on it somewhere. 3. Cross your name off the class list as having done the activity. 4. Choose decorations and stickers you like for your bookmark and put them on . Remember to do front and back. Then... 5. Put your book mark in the MADE BOX.
The bookmarks can then be laminated (by the teacher or adult). You can use a hole punch to put a hole in the top and attach some wool.
THEY LOOK FANTASTIC AND THE CHILDREN LOVE THEM. THEY ARE CREATIVE AND USEFUL AS THEY CAN BE KEPT IN THE CLASSROOM FOR READING TIME AND THEY DO NOT GET MIXED UP AS THEY ARE ALL INDIVIDUAL.
