Beginning Teachers Resource

Hello,
I am working towards my final year of University before I enter the big wide and wonderful world of teaching. As I get closer to my goal of teaching I am both excited and extremely scared. It seems as though there is just so much to cover, to know, to do and that's before you walk into the classroom.

I purchased a book by Sue Cowley entitled "How to Survive your First Year in Teaching". Having read this I know that I am not alone in these feelings and it has given me some insight into how to handle the classroom and the variety of students that I am going to encounter in that first year.

University can only prepare you for so much!
I purchased this book through Fishpond.com.au for around $20 and so far I have picked up some fantastic strategies and ideas that I plan to use in my classroom.
