Back to School Idea

Before the school year starts I ask the school office for the names and addresses of the students in my class.

I then send each student a welcome postcard, introducing myself and letting them know how much I look forward to meeting them on the first day.

I have had positive comments from parents, saying how excited their child was to receive mail and about coming to school.
