Alphabet Cards

by David
(Noosa heads)

I am a final year student teacher in a prep class.

I decided to print up 4 x A4 alphabet charts and laminate them, the class would then have to find the lower case letter blocks and place them on the correct letter on the A4 page, then do the upper case letters after that.

We have the blocks out in the classroom in a large tub. This is a great confidence builder with the students when they find all the letters.

We sing the alphabet song also at the end and point to each letter as we say it. It is very simple but effective.
